Funeral of Dr Walsh 1937 (M7)
Funeral of Dr Edmond Walsh, Avondale, Ystradgynlais, died 17th April 1937 aged 67. The Tablet obituary says he had lived 35 years in Ystradgynlais, and was for 25 years medical officer of health to the rural district council.

The Tablet obituary also says he was one of the originators of the Ystradgynlais Nursing Association, and the Ystradgynlais Maternity and Child Welfare Clinic. He also helped to found the Sacred Heart Church, Ystradgynlais.
